Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Sacramento, CA)

Greenridge Harbor Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Sacramento region. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
