Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Rochester, NY)

Silverline Fox Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Rochester plant. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
