Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Northwind Yarrow Freight is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
