Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services is an inspection company in Indianapolis with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
