Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Highbridge Drift Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Jackson with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
