Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Stonegate Wren Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Sacramento with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
