Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Ironwood River Staffing Associates is a Rochester staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with retention. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
