Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Silverline Cross Inspection Services is an inspection company in Dallas with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
