Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Bluepeak Field Manufacturing is a Omaha manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
