Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Greenridge Timber Markets serves neighbourhoods around Oakland with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
