Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Silverline Linden Foods produces packaged foods at its Jackson plant. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 185 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
