Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Fernwood Holdings is an inspection company in Fort Worth with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
