Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Kansas City, MO)

Nova Beacon Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Kansas City plant. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
