Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Birch Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Grand Rapids presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
