Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Rivermark Ridge Markets is a Grand Rapids retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
