Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Clear Freight and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
