Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Austin, TX)

Cedar Glen Telecom is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 488 people based in Austin. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
