Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Austin, TX)

Ironwood Union Banking Services is a regional lender in Austin with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
