Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Austin, TX)

Northwind Thistle Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Austin area, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
