Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Anchorage, AK)

Rivermark Granite Staffing Group is a Anchorage staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 640 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with timekeeping. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
