Senior Instructor - skills training (Spokane, WA)

Northwind Sparrow Care Services is looking for a Senior Instructor. The job centres on skills training for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about licensing. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in licensing. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
