Senior Instructor - skills training (remote)

Fernwood Loom Early Learning runs childcare centres in Jackson caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Senior Instructor to take on skills training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about classroom supplies. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in classroom supplies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
