Senior Instructor - skills training (remote)

Westbrook Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Austin, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our skills training. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in family communication. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
