Senior Instructor - skills training (remote)

Summit Timber Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Spokane, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our skills training. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about classroom supplies. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
