Senior Instructor - skills training (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Health and adding a Senior Instructor whose main responsibility will be skills training. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
