Senior Instructor - skills training (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Lantern Auto Group is looking for a Senior Instructor. The job centres on skills training for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about parts orders. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
