Senior Instructor - skills training (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Oak Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our skills training. You would join a large organisation of about 703 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about client sites. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in client sites. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
