Senior Instructor - onboarding programmes (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Holdings is looking for a Senior Instructor. The job centres on onboarding programmes for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about certifications. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in certifications. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
