Senior Instructor - certification prep (remote)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in Seattle with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our certification prep. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about certifications. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in certifications. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
