Senior Instructor - certification prep (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen Kestrel Learning Group is looking for a Senior Instructor. The job centres on certification prep for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 492 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about enrolment. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in enrolment. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
