Senior Instructor - certification prep (Grand Rapids, MI)

Highbridge Haven Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Instructor to take on certification prep. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about classroom supplies. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
