Senior Instructor - certification prep (Cleveland, OH)

Summit Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Cleveland area. We are hiring a Senior Instructor to take on certification prep. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about school calendars. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in school calendars. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
