Senior Instructor - certification prep (Birmingham, AL)

Cedar Ridge Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Birmingham area. We are hiring a Senior Instructor to take on certification prep. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about attendance records. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
