Senior Instructor - adult education (Sacramento, CA)

Bright Cross Health Group is looking for a Senior Instructor. The job centres on adult education for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient education. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in patient education. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
