Senior Instructor - adult education (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood River Staffing Associates and adding a Senior Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about temp assignments. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in temp assignments. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
