Senior Instructor - adult education (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Bright Haven Learning Group and adding a Senior Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would join a small organisation of about 178 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about student accounts. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in student accounts. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
