Senior Instructor - adult education (remote)

Fernwood Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Buffalo, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our adult education. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about caregiver training. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in caregiver training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
