Senior Instructor - adult education (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ember Learning Group and adding a Senior Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in family communication. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
