Senior Instructor - adult education (Knoxville, TN)

Summit Union Care Services provides in-home and community support in Knoxville, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our adult education. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about licensing. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in licensing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
