Senior Instructor - adult education (Jackson, MS)

Stonegate Lakeside Care Services provides in-home and community support in Jackson, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our adult education. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in family communication. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
