Senior Instructor - adult education (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Maple Staffing is looking for a Senior Instructor. The job centres on adult education for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about retention. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in retention. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
