Senior Instructor - adult education (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Ridge Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 908 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about meal programmes. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in meal programmes. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
