Senior Instructor - adult education (Grand Rapids, MI)

Ironwood Oak Health Partners is a healthcare provider in Grand Rapids with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Senior Instructor to take on adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient scheduling. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in patient scheduling. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
