Senior Instructor - adult education (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Umber Health provides primary and specialty care in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our adult education. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about referrals. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
