Senior Instructor - adult education (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Thistle Early Learning and adding a Senior Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about tuition and subsidies. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in tuition and subsidies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
