Senior Instructor - adult education (Austin, TX)

Cedar Union Care Services provides in-home and community support in Austin, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our adult education. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in family communication. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
