Senior Instructor - adult education (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Anchorage, and we need a Senior Instructor to lead our adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about school calendars. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
