Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Virginia Beach, VA)

Stonegate Basin Legal Group provides legal services in Virginia Beach across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on intake forms. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
