Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Timber Learning Group is an education provider in Rochester serving students and families, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
