Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Rochester, NY)

Silverline Haven Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Rochester area. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
